I’ve always been a big fan of Washington, D.C. The city is beautiful and there are so many interesting places to visit, whether you want to enjoy a night out or have a historical, cultural experience. Plus, D.C. is one of those cities that always has something going on— so you can easily plan a trip during any season.
If there was ever a time to put Venice at the top of your bucket list, now is that time. Venice was recently added to the World Monument Fund’s list of places under threat. There are genuine concerns that this magical canal city is, quite literally, sinking.
With only a few days to explore all of Sydney, I was in search of a unique experience that would allow me to see the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and countless beautiful beaches. As usual, I turned to the trusty hashtag on Instagram to find ideas from fellow travelers and Aussie locals. After posting #SydneyScenicTour #HELP, someone suggested the idea of a helicopter tour over the city.
I shouldn’t have been surprised. My husband and I agreed he would choose our honeymoon (since I chose our wedding location in Mexico) — and I consider myself lucky we’re not going to the north pole.
